Kentucky Karron Oil is an emulsified flaxseed (linseed) oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The emulsification with calcium hydroxide makes the oil easier to mix and digest, so horses absorb the omega-3 more effectively. Foran recommends it for horses with dry skin or a dull coat, horses needing weight and condition, horses on limited grazing, and mares and stallions needing fertility support.
