Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated 11 September 2026. These terms apply to purchases made on www.bafandsuppliesportlaoise.ie. Buying in store is covered by your normal consumer rights under Irish law.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by BAF and Supplies Portlaoise LTD, trading as Browne's Animal Feeds, Telfords Yard, Clonminam Industrial Estate, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 WIXE, Ireland. Company registration number 804478. VAT number IE 4548194LH. Phone 057 867 2980. Email [email protected].
2. Ordering and payment
When you place an order we send an order confirmation by email. A contract is formed when we accept the order and take payment. Payment is taken securely by card through Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in euro and include VAT at the current Irish rate. If a price is shown incorrectly we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.
3. Delivery
- We deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland by An Post.
- Delivery costs €6.50 per order and is free on orders over €100.
- Dog food and other bagged feed is charged at €6.50 per bag, because each bag is sent as a separate parcel. The free-delivery threshold does not apply to feed.
- Orders normally arrive within 3–5 working days. Clothing and footwear are ordered from our suppliers when you buy, so some sizes may take a few extra days – we will let you know.
- Some items are collect in store only and cannot be posted: feed bags of 12 kg and over, salt, fuel and other heavy or bulky goods. These are marked "Available for in-store purchase only" on the product page.
4. Click and collect
You can choose to collect any order from our yard at Clonminam Industrial Estate, Portlaoise, Monday to Friday 8:45am–5:30pm and Saturday 8:45am–4pm. Bring your order confirmation. We hold collection orders for 14 days.
5. Changing your mind – 14-day right to cancel
If you buy online you have the right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive the goods. To cancel, email or ring us with your order number, then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. Goods must be unused, in their original packaging with tags attached, and in a condition that allows us to resell them. You pay the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing. We refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back, to the card used to pay.
The right to cancel does not apply to goods that spoil quickly, sealed goods that have been opened where hygiene applies (for example opened supplements, feed or animal-health products), goods made to your specification, or gift cards that have been used.
6. Faulty or incorrect goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, contact us within a reasonable time and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund, including return postage. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Sizing
Every clothing and footwear size shown on the site can be ordered. Sizing information on each product page comes from the manufacturer. If a size does not fit you can exchange or return it under section 5.
8. Gift cards and promotion codes
Gift cards can be used online and in store, cannot be exchanged for cash and are valid for the period stated on the card. Promotion codes cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and we may withdraw a promotion at any time.
9. Privacy
We use your details only to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. Card payments are processed by Stripe under their own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
10. Complaints and law
If something goes wrong, ring us on 057 867 2980 or email [email protected] and we will sort it out. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and the Irish courts. You may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
